STAFF COMMUNICATIONS

LOCAL AUTHORITIES have an ongoing need to communicate with their staff and keep them focused on customer care. Two examples that achieved this were 'Bob & Margaret's Story',(clip) a hearts and minds programme for a Council's direct labour force and 'It was Muuurrrder' (programme promo) aimed at all council employees. Both used dramatised scenarios to put across the training messages.

EMPLOYMENT LAW is a difficult are for many organisations as many line managers do not know the law. This commission was from a Scottish Law Firm to supplement their classroom training in this subject. the dramatised scenarios showed typical situations a manager might encounter including a disciplinary hearing, performance review, grievance and absence management.
